Hands-on, Minds-on Learning
Planning is underway for the 6th Annual St. Petersburg Science Festival, a free, family festival designed as a fun-filled "carnival of science” for families and the public to explore the excitement and wonder of hands-on science, technology, engineering, art, and math (STEAM), through interactive exhibits, activities, and shows that appeal to both children and adults.
The St. Petersburg Science Festival was created to be a community celebration of science, in the same way that our community celebrates the arts, music, and sports. Our "celebration of science” concept, which is modeled after well-established science festivals in Washington D.C., Cambridge and San Diego, is a departure from the formal structure of academic and research methodology.
Festival visitors come from across the seven-county West Central Florida area and beyond, and the St. Petersburg Science Festival can be a great way to introduce your organization to the Tampa Bay area via engaging, interactive exhibits or shows.
The Program Committee is seeking crowd pleasing exhibits and shows that will appeal to festival visitors’ sense of curiosity. Our exhibitors actively involve the public through hands-on interaction with the exhibits.
Exhibitor registration is now closed.
